Peru: Gov't terminates duties of Oscar Maurtua as Ambassador to Spain

The Executive Branch has terminated the duties of Oscar Jose Ricardo Maurtua de Romaña, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to the Kingdom of Spain.

The decision was made official through Supreme Resolution No. 018-2023-RE published in the Official Gazette El Peruano.

Likewise, the Government has terminated his duties as Permanent Representative of Peru to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Principality of Andorra.

Moreover, the aforementioned resolution stated that the date marking the end of his duties will be set by a ministerial resolution.

In this sense, the official's corresponding credentials and full powers have been cancelled

Similarly, the Executive Branch thanked him for the important services rendered to the Nation in the course of his duties.

Honduras

On the other hand, through another supreme resolution, the duties of Jorge Alejandro Raffo Carbajal as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Republic of Honduras have been terminated, too.

Thus, the date marking the end of his duties will be set by a ministerial resolution and the corresponding credentials and full powers have been cancelled.

Likewise, the Government thanked the Peruvian envoy for the important services rendered to the Nation.
