Peru congratulates Panama's new President

Peru congratulated Jose Raul Mulino on assuming the Presidency of the Republic of Panama, and wished him the greatest success in his administration.

On behalf of the Peruvian Government, Foreign Affairs Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea participated in the swearing-in ceremony.

At this event, the Cabinet member reaffirmed the commitment to strengthening our bilateral relations, dialogue, cooperation, and respect for the well-being of both nations' citizens.

On this occasion, Minister Gonzalez-Olaechea was accompanied by his wife.

Jose Raul Mulino was on Monday sworn in as President of Panama for the next five years.


Furthermore, Minister Gonzalez-Olaechea met with
Ibero-American Secretary-General Andres 
Allamand,
within the framework of the Panamanian presidential inauguration ceremony.

During the meeting, they had the opportunity to discuss the projection of cooperation in Ibero-America and the holding of the XXIX Ibero-American Summit, which will take place next November.
