Peru 2026 Elections: Roberto Sanchez casts vote

Presidential candidate Roberto Sanchez (Together for Peru Party) cast his vote at Maria Reiche School in Lima's San Borja district on Sunday.

The presidential hopeful arrived at the polling place at 12:30 p.m.

After entering the facility, he exercised his right to vote

Amid a heavy police presence, Sanchez greeted citizens gathered at the polling center.

The candidate arrived at the polling place accompanied by his wife and some members of his political party.

Upon leaving the polling place, he briefly spoke to reporters, calling on citizens to cast their ballots responsibly and respect the popular will.

He also stated that his party had deployed a significant number of poll watchers to help safeguard and strengthen democracy.


The event was attended by his parents, as well as his wife and two daughters.
