Blackthorn, which counts with the participation of Peruvian actress Magaly Solier, ran away with six trophies at Spain's annual Goya awards on Sunday, February 19.

Said film won the Best Production Supervision, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, and Costume Design awards.

The movie – filmed in 2010- is a fictional account of an aged Butch Cassidy living under the assumed name James Blackthorn in a secluded village in Bolivia 20 years after his disappearance in 1908.

The Peruvian actress expressed her joy after participating in said movie and working with famous actors such as Sam Shepard.

Moreover, Enrique Urbizu's film ‘No Habra Paz para los Malvados’ won the Best Film award.
