The raising of the national flag and the singing of the national anthem took place at Torre Tagle Palace —the
Foreign Affairs Ministry's headquarters— in Lima on Monday, in accordance with the measure ordered by the Executive Branch for all public entities.
Ministry officials and staff also took part in the event, thus highlighting the commitment of all Peruvians to our national symbols.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes the government's commitment to strengthening our national identity," the Ministry underscored on its official X account, where images of the event were shared.

It should be noted that, as a complementary measure to the state of emergency, the raising of the national flag on Mondays at State-run institutions, as well as the singing of Peru's national anthem, was ordered to reinforce national identity.
Prime Minister Ernesto Alvarez did the same at the Government Palace in Lima. It was a civic activity in which staff from there and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) also participated.
