FA Min talks with peers about Peru's international positioning

Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi met with Ministers Alex Contreras (Economy-Finance) and Juan Carlos Mathews (Foreign Trade-Tourism), with whom she discussed the positioning of Peru at international level.

During this session, the high-ranking officials discussed joint actions to consolidate Peru's international positioning based on its leadership at the Pacific Alliance —

a bloc also composed of Chile, Colombia, and Mexico.

Likewise, the importance of Peru's Pro-Tempore Presidency at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum in 2024 and the country's active presence at international forums were mentioned.

The three Cabinet members also addressed the development of opportunities in favor of strengthening trade, tourism, and investment in Peru.
