Bolivia's President-Elect seeks increased dialogue and cooperation with Peru

President-Elect of Bolivia Luis Arce on Tuesday thanked Peruvian counterpart Martin Vizcarra for his greeting and best wishes following his election victory.

In a post on Twitter, Arce said that his administration will strengthen the dialogue and cooperation between the two brother countries, for the benefit of both peoples.

On Monday, Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra congratulated Luis Arce for his election as President of Bolivia and extended his best wishes to the new administration.

"I express the willingness to continue strengthening our historic relations of brotherhood and cooperation for the well-being of both peoples," he posted on Twitter.

Luis Arce —a candidate of the Movement to Socialism party (MAS)— won Bolivia's presidential elections held on Sunday.

Thus, the President-Elect will replace Jeanine Añez to take the reins of the South American nation.
