"In the APEC year, the invitation to the leaders will be sent out in the middle of 2024, between May and June, and a second invitation will be extended between September and October, for confirmation," he told Andina news agency.

Ambassador Vasquez underscored that, according to information obtained from delegates and senior officials participating in the first cluster of APEC 2024 meetings, there is high interest among leaders in participating in the summit.
