The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the 10 Peruvian nationals who were repatriated from Israel on a humanitarian flight arranged by Chile, arrived in Peru —from the neighboring country— on Sunday.

As previously reported, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the compatriots left Tel Aviv and landed in Santiago on Friday on a plane flown by the Chilean Air Force.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through our Consulate in Santiago, assisted and managed the transfer of our 10 compatriots repatriated from Tel Aviv, who arrived in Santiago yesterday (last Friday). They landed in our country this afternoon (Sunday afternoon)," the ministry said on social media.

In recent days, dozens of Peruvians have returned from Israel as a result of the war between said country and the Palestinian group Hamas, which has already left thousands dead, injured and displaced in that part of the Middle East.
