A group of Peruvian citizens —who currently reside in Spain— gathered at La Puerta del Sol Square in Madrid on Wednesday to demand the
resignation of Attorney General Pedro Chavarry in the South American country.
It should be noted a national march will take place in Lima and diverse regions of the Inca country to defend justice and democracy, as well as to protest against corruption, due to a crisis existing within the Public Ministry caused by Chavarry.

As a result,
Odebrecht benefited from over US$143 million between 2005 and 2014 in Peru, according to the U.S. Justice Department.
