Peruvian midfielder Edison Flores attended his first training session with Mexican Monarcas Morelia, hours after he had signed a contract with the club.
The athlete started to follow coach Roberto Hernandez's guidelines in order to adapt quickly to the new team and introduce himself to his new mates.
The 24-year-old player may make his debut with his new squad on August 31. On that day, the team will face Queretaro club as part of the Liga MX tournament.
Otherwise, he will have to wait until Wednesday, September 5, when the squad plays against Oaxaca's Alebrijes for Mexico's domestic Copa MX competition.
Commitment
On Monday night, Edison Flores signed the contract with Monarcas Morelia for the next four seasons, thus becoming the third Peruvian member of this club.
Flores has joined the same team as fellow Peruvians Irven Avila and Ray Sandoval.
He sent a message to Morelia followers and committed to giving his all for the new squad.
As is known, 'The Ears' has played for clubs Universitario de Deportes (Peru), Villarreal B (Spain), and Aalborg BK (Denmark).
