The
on Saturday afternoon affirmed that she is fostering a government of national unity for all Peruvians.
"The government of national unity will be for all Peruvians," Mrs. Boluarte expressed.
The Head of State said she is respectful of citizens' right to mobilization, as this is guaranteed by the Constitution, but always "respecting human rights and people's integrity."
The top official pointed out that the National Police of Peru "is clear about these orders."
"Let us avoid conflicts that put our brotherhood as Peruvians at risk," Mrs. Boluarte underlined.
"I am attentive to social concerns and demands. Besides, I offer my open hand to meet fair demands," she added.
In this sense, the President issued "a fraternal call for calm, tranquility, and social peace."
Government axes
The President affirmed "the consolidation of democracy, the rule of law, the balance of powers, and governability mark the essential guidelines" of her administration.
"With the help of all social sectors and political forces, we will once again regain the stability that our country requires and demands so much," she noted.
After mentioning said topic, the Head of State reiterated that she assumed lead of this country for "having been part of a presidential formula that won the elections in June 2021."
"It is not a blank check but a commitment to each one of you to leave the political crisis and the serious effects of the pandemic behind, continue reactivating the country, and attend to the most urgent needs, such as the drought, which threatens to affect agriculture," she specified.
"That is our task and commitment," she pointed out.
Regarding the
recently sworn-in Ministerial Cabinet, Mrs. Boluarte indicated that its formation has been the outcome of hard work, and it will undertake efforts "towards economic reactivation and social justice."
