Peru: President swears in three State Ministers

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte Zegarra on Friday evening administered the oath of office to three new State Ministers who will lead the following sectors: Interior, Labor-Employment Promotion, and Women-Vulnerable Populations.

First, the Head of State swore in Vicente Romero Fernandez, who will serve as Minister of Interior. Therefore, he replaces outgoing Victor Eduardo Rojas Herrera in the post.

Afterwards, the top official administered the oath of office to Luis Alfonso Adrianzen Ojeda, who has become Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion. Thus, he replaces Eduardo Alonso Garcia Birimisa.

As is known, Garcia Birimisa tendered his resignation letter to the Head of State last Thursday.

Lastly, Nancy Rosalina Tolentino Gamarra was sworn in as Minister of Women and Vulnerable Populations. She replaces Grecia Elena Rojas Ortiz in the post. 

Today's event took place at the Government Palace in Lima.
