The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Wednesday participated in the ceremony to commemorate the 201st anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held at the headquarters of said government agency in downtown Lima.

The Ministry's authorities —led by sector's head Cesar Landa— as well as representatives of foreign countries' delegations based in Peru attended this meeting.

Earlier today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the values of Peru's foreign policy —within the framework of the 201st anniversary of its creation and the celebration of Diplomat's Day.

"On our anniversary, we reaffirm the values of Peruvian foreign policy exercising State, social, citizen, and decentralized diplomacy for the benefit of all Peruvians residing in our country and in every corner of the world," the agency expressed via its official Twitter account.
