The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic on Wednesday reaffirmed the values of Peru's foreign policy —within the framework of the 201st anniversary of the creation of this government agency and the celebration of Diplomat's Day.

"On our anniversary, we reaffirm the values of Peruvian foreign policy exercising State, social, citizen, and decentralized diplomacy for the benefit of all Peruvians residing in our country and in every corner of the world," the ministry expressed via its official Twitter account.

In another publication, the wreath-placing ceremony before the mausoleum of Jose Gregorio Paz Soldan was reported. This event was presided over by
Minister Cesar Landa.

Later, the Cabinet member participated in a protocol ceremony at Jose Faustino Sanchez Carrion Square, located at the back of Parliament's building.

The wreaths were placed by representatives of the Association of Diplomatic Service Officials of Peru, the Association of Retired Diplomatic Officials, and the Diplomatic Academy of Peru.
