Peru: President Boluarte overflies zones affected by landslide in Arequipa

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Tuesday flew over the areas affected by landslide in Arequipa region, southern Peru.

As is known, the Head of State arrived in this part of the country with the aim of bringing humanitarian aid to those affected by landslides following heavy rains.

The shipment sent by the Government, which also includes medical aid, is intended to assist the affected population of this jurisdiction.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Ministry of Defense (Mindef) reported on the shipment of 4.5 tons of humanitarian aid to the affected areas in Arequipa region.

This aid is part of more than 61 tons allocated for 1,280 affected people, the Mindef reported via Twitter.
