Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Monday affirmed the 4th Peru-Bolivia Binational Cabinet is aimed at reaching agreements for the benefit of people in both countries.

Via Twitter, the Peruvian leader assured his administration seeks to benefit primarily those living in border regions.

Vizcarra and his Bolivian counterpart Evo Morales preside over the 4th Binational Cabinet, the most important high-level toll for deepening bilateral cooperation and boosting joint projects toward more equitable development dynamics.

Peru's top official arrived in Cobija, Bolivia this morning. His flight —on an Air Force-owned plane— touched down at Anibal Arab airport at 7:40 AM.

The statesman is joined by Peru's Prime Minister Cesar Villanueva, Foreign Affairs Minister Nestor Popolizio, and other State ministers.

Upon arrival, the Peruvian delegation was received with full State honors.

Bolivia's Foreign Affairs Minister Fernando Huanacuni welcomed President Vizcarra on behalf of his nation.
