The 4th Binational Cabinet takes place in the Bolivian city of Cobija under the leadership of Presidents Martin Vizcarra (Peru) and Evo Morales (Bolivia).
The major event kicked off at 9:10 AM addressing the first thematic axis: Environment and Transboundary Resources.
In this regard, the Bolivian delegation informed that 15 out of the 18 commitments made by the 3rd Binational Cabinet were met during technical working sessions. This represents an advance of 83% of the total progress required.
Additionally, ministers of both countries will review the progress made in the other three axes: Security and Defense; Economic Development, Social Policies, and Institutional Strengthening; and Infrastructure for Integration and Development.
It must be noted
Vizcarra and Morales held a brief informal meeting before attending the high-level event.
The 4th Peru-Bolivia Binational Cabinet is aimed at deepening
bilateral cooperation and boosting joint projects toward more equitable development dynamics.
