Peruvian Prime Minister Vicente Zeballos on Wednesday said it is a priority for President Martin Vizcarra's administration to continue working on the institutional strengthening of the State and its capabilities, so it will be able to provide effective and high-quality State-run services to the citizens.

In this sense, he announced that —at the recent Council of Ministers meeting— an urgency decree has been approved that establishes a set of measures so that the paralyzed works can be resumed in the shortest time possible.

Furthermore, he confirmed that the Government will seek to boost the country's growth and development potential.

Remarks were made during the presentation of the cabinet's measures by Prime Minister Vicente Zeballos.

Regional governors, mayors, as well as representatives of political parties, business groups, and civil society attended the ceremony at the Government Palace in Lima.
