Peru's Prime Minister Cesar Villanueva reiterated the Government will engage in dialogue with all political sectors in order to reach agreements that guarantee the stability required to boost the country's development.
Within this framework, he affirmed the Executive Branch will not sideline any political party for its ideology or its closeness to President Vizcarra's administration.
"I'm going to talk to everyone because we want to make this country for everybody. Everyone counts," he told ATV local channel.
"We have to talk to everyone to make progress in the
reconstruction," the high-ranking official underlined.
As is known, northern Peru was hit by
Coastal El Niño phenomenon floods last year. Said weather event was characterized by heavy rains, landslides, and floods, which destroyed infrastructure and crops, leaving many citizens homeless.
As for the hike in excise duties on certain products, he said this measure should have been taken by previous administrations.
"This is an upgrade to specific products," Villanueva underlined.
