The
arrived at Tokyo International Cruise Terminal on Wednesday, within the framework of activities for the 150th anniversary of Peru-Japan diplomatic relations.
Similarly, both authorities will sign important cooperation agreements in the field of Antarctic and academic research.
Prior to arrival, the
Embassy of Peru in Japan, in coordination with its Defense Attaché Office and the
Peruvian Navy,
made arrangements for the ship to berth, free of charge, at Tokyo International Cruise Terminal.
It is a privileged and easily accessible space for all citizens of the Japanese capital, students from local schools, and the resident Peruvian community.
The Peruvian diplomatic mission, in collaboration with the OCEX Tokyo, set up a cultural, commercial, and tourist promotion exhibit inside the cruise terminal so that visitors can observe various elements of our country while they wait to enter the BAP Union, which can be seen from August 30 to September 3.
The
Peruvian Embassy has also
coordinated permanent coverage by the main television and written media of all activities to be held on the BAP Union.
The vessel arrived at the port singing the Japanese national anthem and was received by
Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Rear Admiral Minami, who was accompanied by senior military authorities and 16 local media outlets.
