Peru expresses solidarity with China and Nepal after severe flooding

Peru expressed deep solidarity with the citizens and governments of the People's Republic of China and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, following the devastating floods and landslides that occurred in the border area, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on Wednesday.

Likewise, the South American country extended its deepest condolences to the victims' families.

Furthermore, Peru expressed its hope for the success of search, rescue, and relief efforts, as well as for the swift recovery of the affected areas.

So far, no Peruvian citizens have been reported among those affected, the government agency indicated.
