"The Government of Peru extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Brando David Flores Garcia, and hopes that his family finds peace in this painful moment," the Foreign Affairs Ministry expressed via social media.
Similarly, the government official explained that his death had occurred in combat, because Brando David Flores Garcia was a reservist in the Israeli Army and a member of the defense forces.
The diplomat also said that the only official channel for news about the missing citizens is the
Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry.
He added that there is still no more news regarding Peruvians affected by this war.
"We hold two zoom meetings, in the morning and the evening; they give us a report, but we don't have any (report) about the deceased," he told RPP Noticias, later indicating that there are so far three Peruvians missing and one deceased.

Moreover, the ambassador specified that the group of Peruvians who were sightseeing in Israel is already at the airport of that country so as to board a plane to Peru.
"We make arrangements to find another airline or plane; however, they (airlines) do not enter (the territory) for fear of being hit by a missile; the compatriots were at a hotel, but now they are at the airport, and if they do not get a flight, we are assessing options to evacuate them by land via Jordan and on a commercial flight from there," Cacho-Sousa indicated.
The diplomat said that if Peruvians do not get a flight, they will return to the hotel.
He added that they have already been duly registered.
