Peru international Luis Advincula has confirmed he will join Bundesliga side Hoffenheim from SC Tavriya Simferopol of Ukraine for an undisclosed fee.
The 22 year-old, who can play at right-back or on the wing, had a spell on loan at Peruvian champions Sporting Cristal last season.
His scintillating form was reported to have interested clubs in Argentina and Germany, including the likes of Estudiantes de La Plata and Fortuna Düsseldorf.
On his website, Advincula said he wants to follow in the footsteps of fellow Peruvians Claudio Pizarro and Jefferson Farfan and make a name for himself in the Bundesliga.
Advincula, nicknamed 'Usain Bolt' for his blistering turn of pace, was a key figure in Peru finishing third in the 2011 Copa America in Argentina.
