Chief Correspondent of the
People's Daily of China in Latin America, Chen Yiming, along with other journalists, visited the joint editorial office of
El Peruano Official Gazette and
Andina news agency.
The visitors held a meeting with Editora Peru General Manager and Editor-in-Chief Felix Paz and Official Publications Manager Ricardo Montero.
During the meeting, participants exchanged ideas and proposals to strengthen the editorial relationship between their respective media outlets, and thus, disseminate Peru-related content in China and vice versa.
Moreover, he stated that this poses a great opportunity to continue providing specialized and general information about both countries.
The People's Daily of China is one of the most important and influential media outlets in the Asian Giant. It was first published on June 15, 1948.
It should be noted that the People's Daily has an online platform, which was created on January 1, 1997.
In 2012, the Chinese newspaper began trading on the
Shanghai Stock Exchange, thus becoming
the first news portal in China with its shares listed as Class A.
