Peruvian student Giuliana Huaman claimed first place at an innovation competition organized by United States' Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the most prestigious universities in the world.
Huaman had graduated in Administrative Sciences at Lima's Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM).
After hearing the good news, the Dean University of the Americas extended its congratulations, via social media, to "San Marco's entrepreneurial student that has just won an innovation contest at MIT (…)."
"Peru, I dedicate this award to you, my family, my teachers, and all the people whose support has allowed me to be here," Huaman wrote on Facebook after receiving the award.
