Peru's President Fujimori addresses United Nations General Assembly

The President of the Republic of Peru, Keiko Fujimori, on Tuesday participated in the High-Level General Debate of the 81st United Nations General Assembly session.

Upon arrival at the United Nations headquarters, the Head of State was welcomed by United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres and senior UN officials.

On her second day of official activities, Peru's top official took the floor as the eighth participant in the General Debate.

She addressed representatives of the international community.

Later, President Fujimori will hold various bilateral meetings and official engagements.
