Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen stated that the Government has been fostering the creation of the Ministry of Infrastructure due to the need for major projects to connect with the world.

In this regard, the high-ranking official indicated that it is necessary to generate conditions of stability in order to attract investments to the country.

The Cabinet chief noted that it is also necessary to have a favorable environment based on tolerance, dialogue, and respect.

In this regard, Adrianzen underscored that, throughout this year, the Southern Highway Corridor has only stopped for eight nights, "thanks to dialogue and the creation of roundtables that calmed the conflict."

"We are promoting the creation of the Ministry of Infrastructure, because we need large projects to connect with the world. None of this is possible if we do not establish the right environment, stable conditions to make investors find us appealing," he said before hundreds of businesspeople.

The Cabinet chief participated in the Meeting of Business Leaders, an event organized by CAENE Executive Education, which seeks to connect the business sector, the Peruvian State, and the academia.

This year, the Executive Branch presented to Congress the bill that creates the Ministry of Infrastructure, which seeks to offer quality public services to the population, considering efficiency, sustainability, as well as a territorial and social approach.

This new entity will absorb 13 entities, programs, projects, and funds, such as the National Infrastructure Authority, the National Health Investment Program, and the National Educational Infrastructure Program, among others.
