Peru's Foreign Affairs Min, U.S. Secretary of State discuss bilateral ties

Peru's Foreign Affairs Minister Allan Wagner on Sunday morning held a conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, in which they reiterated the good level of bilateral ties between the two countries.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru, the two officials discussed issues regarding the fight against COVID-19, post-pandemic international relations, particularly the situation in the region, and cooperation on economic revival.

On the other hand, the ministry welcomed the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the Maritime Boundary Agreement with Ecuador.

It affirmed that said agreement is a core element in the relationship of friendship, cooperation, and integration with said country, as well as a significant milestone for the definitive delimitation of Peru's maritime borders.
