Peru's FA Min meets with China's Assistant Foreign Affairs Minister

Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea on Thursday met with the Assistant Foreign Affairs Minister of the People's Republic of China, Hua Chunying, who is in Peru.

During the meeting, the authorities analyzed future steps to enhance the excellent relations between both countries, the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

"Likewise, they discussed the joint actions to be promoted within the framework of preparations for the upcoming APEC Peru 2024 Leaders' Summit," the post reads.

This year, Peru will host the annual meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum and related events, which will take place in a decentralized manner in different cities across the country.
