Peru wins four gold medals at Bolivarian Games

Peruvian delegation has succeeded to earn four gold medals on the first day of 2013 Bolivarian Games, thus having a good start towards hitting the 60-medal mark.
Peru's better performance was showcased at water competitions as Delfina Cuglievan obtained two gold medal in water skiing in the categories of women's jump and slalom.

The venue of this sport discipline was the Bujama Lake, located 80 km (49.7 miles) south of Lima, where the Peruvian athlete got the individual title in women's jump after scoring 37.2 points, beating out Chilean Pascala Dominique and Colombian Paula Jaramillo, who were second and third place in the standings, respectively.

Moreover, Peru showed its leadership in water sky at the Games after Natalia Cuglievan earned the women' trick gold medal  with 6790 points, while Jorge Hurtado Diaz was crowned bodyboarding champion with a score of 13.200 points.

Likewise, Peru's swim team conquered two bronze medals at the Mansiche Olympic pool in the northern city of Chiclayo

The first one was taken by the swimmer Mauricio Fiol in men's 200 metre free style competition, while Andrea Cerron won the second place on the women's 400 metre free style.
