With the aim of promoting mining technology developed in Peru and positioning it in the international market, the Embassy of Peru in Saudi Arabia attended the signing of an agreement between the companies ARGAS and Christensen Boyles.

The initiative seeks to introduce an innovative drilling tool—entirely designed and manufactured in Peru—into the Saudi market.

The tool—a limited-edition diamond drill bit—was unveiled at the Future Minerals Forum (FMF 2026), held in Riyadh.

At the event, Peru's diplomatic mission highlighted the presence of the Christensen Boyles Group, which has more than 70 years of experience manufacturing diamond drill bits in the South American country.

It also underscored that the capacity for continuous innovation demonstrates Peru's strong technological contribution to the global mining sector.
