The top official believes that a roadmap must be in force to consolidate this important objective.
"We have a prestige, image and credibility that, as a bloc, we must maintain," he added.
According to the statesman, the challenges facing this alliance go through the reactivation of the economy —especially for the sectors most disadvantaged and affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The top official also affirmed that this bloc should be projected towards the Asia-Pacific, an area that he considered "our main region of interest, without neglecting other regions and countries of the world traditionally associated with our nations."
