Peru: Prime Minister presents budget bill to Congress

Prime Minister Luis Galarreta supports the 2027 Public Sector Budget, Public Sector Indebtedness, and Financial Balance bills before Congress.

The Cabinet chief arrived at Parliament headquarters alongside Economy and Finance Minister Elmer Cuba.

According to Congress' regulations, the presentation of the budget bills must take place within 48 hours of their submission to Parliament.

In presenting the bills, Executive Branch representatives are primarily responsible for addressing spending priorities and financing sources.
