Peruvian Prime Minister Luis Galarreta met with Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) Executive Vice President Gianpiero Leoncini.
The meeting aimed to ensure continuity in the agreements reached between President Keiko Fujimori and CAF Executive President Sergio Diaz-Granados.
CAF reiterated its willingness to support the Government's priorities in citizen security, intelligence strengthening, fight against transnational crime, coordination with neighboring countries, infrastructure, and preparedness for El Niño phenomenon.
Both parties agreed to move forward with a training and development program for young Peruvian leaders, in line with the Government's commitment to education as the main legacy of its administration.
