The
President of the Republic Pedro Castillo will on March 11 attend the presidential swearing-in of Gabriel Boric, who will govern Chile for a period of four years.
Likewise, it will give continuity to a bilateral agenda aimed at identifying priority issues of common interest for the benefit of both States' populations.
The authorization for the trip was approved with 74 votes in favor, 31 against, and 6 abstentions during a plenary session on February 28.
36-year-old Boric will succeed Sebastian Piñera in Chile. He won the runoff election against Jose Antonio Kast on December 19, 2021.
