The Congress of the Republic published Legislative Resolution No. 31430, by which
is authorized to travel abroad on March 10-11 to participate in the ceremony marking the transfer of presidential power in Chile.
The resolution, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on Saturday, states that said ceremony will take place in the cities of Santiago and Valparaíso.
The document indicates that Mr. Castillo's presence at the event will strengthen the historical ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Moreover, continuity will be given to a bilateral work agenda aimed at identifying priority issues for the benefit of both States' populations.
