took part Wednesday morning in the ceremony marking "National Older Adults Day: Experience that Inspires."
At this event, the experience, contributions, and active participation of older adults were recognized as part of the Third State Policy, "Caring for Experience."
In Peru, the observance of Older Adults Day was established by Law No. 30088, promoted by former lawmaker Jose Urquizo and published in Official Gazette El Peruano on October 1, 2013.
Its objective is to raise awareness among society and the State about the importance of valuing older adults’ experience, wisdom, and fundamental role.
