In this regard, the Head of State expressed Peru's willingness to support the success of the upcoming elections in Haiti and strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by diplomatic corps representatives from Peru and the Republic of Haiti.
This event took place at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
On April 25, 2024, the Transitional Presidential Council officially took the lead of Haiti and was installed at the National Palace in Port-au-Prince in secret.
This committee is responsible for paving the way for new presidential elections.
