arrived in Junin region on Friday to carry out a working agenda in Chongos Bajo district, Chupaca province, which was struck by a new earthquake last Thursday.
The Head of State is accompanied by the ministers of Housing, Education, Labor, and Health.
The top official's visit to the area —her second since taking office— had been scheduled and took place one day after a 5.0-magnitude quake struck Chupaca once again.
This latest quake occurred less than three weeks after the strong 5.4-magnitude earthquake that struck the same province on July 18 and caused extensive damage, mainly in Chongos Bajo district.
