took part in the ceremony for the hoisting of the National Flag aboard the Peruvian Navy ships B.A.P. Rio Huarmey and B.A.P. Rio Nepeña.
This event was held at the Naval Base in Callao region on Thursday.
The ceremony marked the formal incorporation of both patrol vessels into the Peruvian Navy.
The Head of State was accompanied by Congress acting Chairman Fernando Rospigliosi and Defense Minister Cesar Diaz.
Senior commanders of the Armed Forces were also present in the event.
