Peru: President Jeri meets with Brazil's FA Minister

The President of the Republic, Jose Jeri, held a meeting with Brazil's Foreign Affairs Minister Mauro Vieira on Thursday morning.

Peru's Foreign Affairs Minister Hugo de Zela participated in the event as well.

The session addressed Brazil's interconnection with the Pacific Ocean through the Port of Chancay, the Presidential Office reported via social media.

The dignitaries also discussed the importance of renewing the 2003 Strategic Alliance to adapt it to new regional and global challenges.

The Brazilian diplomat is on an official visit. He has met with his Peruvian counterpart to discuss topics related to the bilateral relationship.

This meeting took place at the Government Palace in Lima.
