Prime Minister Luis Galarreta met with representatives of the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) to strengthen cooperation with Peru.
The meeting also advanced an agenda aimed at accelerating investments in tourism, water and sanitation, as well as strengthening prison infrastructure.
"The Government reaffirms its commitment to forging strategic partnerships that translate into more projects and concrete results for the security and development of more Peruvians," the PCM reported on social media.
The event was attended by CAF Executive Vice President Gianpiero Leoncini; CAF Representative in Peru Santiago Rojas Arroyo; and CAF Principal Executive Rosario Andrade Ordoñez.
It was held at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers' (PCM) headquarters in Lima.
