Peru: Over 63.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

63,679,909 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.

Out of that total, 24,854,407 were given as second dose, thus accounting for 75.82% of the target population.
Within this framework, 10,870,301 citizens have been vaccinated with a booster dose.

They also account for 33.16% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.
