Peru: MTC and German Embassy to promote transportation and public safety projects

Peru's Transportation and Communications Minister Aldo Prieto held a meeting with Germany's Ambassador, Sabine Bloch. The gathering aimed at strengthening the cooperative ties between both countries.

During the meeting, the diplomat expressed her nation's interest in providing technical and financial support for the development of transportation projects that contribute to a more efficient and modern infrastructure.


Likewise, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC) head reported on the sector's main initiatives aimed at combating crime, including progress in the implementation of the 911 Emergency Center, a key tool to strengthen public safety nationwide.

The meeting also allowed for discussions on promoting foreign investment in the South American country, highlighting the MTC's role as a strategic actor in driving projects that boost the economy and improve the population's quality of life.
