The SNMPE indicated that copper accounted for 46.1% of the mining export value in the first seven months of this year, while gold represented 37.3%.
The association emphasized that mining shipments accounted for 74.6% of Peru's total exports between January and July 2026.

The SNMPE reported that mining exports totaled US$7.363 billion in July 2026, a 51.8% increase from the same month in 2025 (US$4.852 billion).
