Peru: Madre de Dios Governor coordinates China support for social projects

The governor of rainforest Madre de Dios region in Peru, Luis Hidalgo Okimura, participates at Expo Central China 2019, where he is managing the support from Chinese authorities and businesspersons so as to develop productive and social projects in said area.


Likewise, he has requested cooperation for donating heavy machinery and equipment to health and education sectors.


The regional authority met with Chinese National Institute of Parasitic Diseases' executives.

Hidalgo is promoting Madre de Dios as a tourist destination in the world's most populous country and spreading the region's extraordinary biodiversity in terms of flora and fauna.

The fair took place in Nanchang from May 18 to 20, 2019.

The Central China Expo aims to build a platform for carrying on industrial transfer, investment and trade promotion by taking thematic forums, investment and trade exhibitions, series of symposiums and investment project docking.
