Peru Ahora (Peru Now), the advertising campaign that will bring Peru back to the global spotlight —as a diverse, safe, and competitive destination— was launched with live images from the citadel of Machu Picchu and amid great enthusiasm.

This advertising campaign shows everyday moments and views of beautiful representative landscapes in Peru, such as Machu Picchu, Huacachina, Gocta, Lake 69, Peru's northern beaches, among other destinations.

The strategy seeks to enhance the positive image that is characteristic of Peru and, above all, inspire tourists to discover the country through its wide range of experiences, culture, landscapes and sensations along its extensive coastline, including spectacular Andean landscapes and an exuberant Amazon jungle.

The articles and digital materials to be disturbed worldwide will be featured in important specialized publications worldwide such as National Geographic, The New York Times, CNN, HBO and the Forbes Group.

Moreover, the promotional materials will be available on social media platforms, highlighting the country's exceptional cultural legacy, nature, gastronomy, and hotel infrastructure.

PromPeru has invested approximately S/8 million (about US$2.11 million) in the campaign, which will be in force until April 10, mainly in cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Mexico City, Santiago, Arica, Iquique, Antofagasta, Quito, Cuenca, Loja, Machala, Guayaquil, Bogota, Medellin, Madrid, and Barcelona, among others.

The campaign's target audience was defined as young and adult travelers made up of Millennials and Generation X (between 25 and 54 years old).

The campaign is estimated to be watched by 38.9 million people.
