Gustavo Adrianzen officially appointed as Peru's Representative to UN

The Government on Thursday formalized the appointment of former Prime Minister Gustavo Lino Adrianzen Olaya as Peru's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), headquartered in New York, the United States of America.

Through Supreme Resolution No. 070-2025-RE, published in the Legal Regulations Bulletin of the Official Gazette El Peruano, Adrianzen Olaya is granted letters of credence and corresponding full powers.

"The date on which he must assume duties will be set by ministerial resolution," reads the resolution signed by President Dina Boluarte and Foreign Affairs Minister Elmer Schialer.

Likewise, through Supreme Resolution No. 069-2025-RE, the duties of Ambassador in the Diplomatic Service of the Republic (in retirement status) Enrique Armando Roman Morey, as Permanent Representative of Peru to the United Nations, have been terminated.

According to the document, Roman Morey is thanked for the important services rendered to the Nation in the performance of his duties, and the cancellation of the letters of credence and corresponding full powers granted is ordered.
