11:42 | Lima, Feb. 22.

President Martin Vizcarra on Friday affirmed the Executive Branch will allocate additional resources to the districts declared in state of emergency due to natural disasters.

The measure is aimed at responding to this urgent situation.

Within this framework, the Head of State indicated the Council of Ministers has approved the transfer of a special reserve to restore the infrastructure damaged by the ravages of nature.

Likewise, the top official noted there are districts relying on low budgets.

"We are making a transfer to them that should be published this weekend. It will help (them) to rely on economic support (…)," he expressed in this sense.

Remarks were made during the 10th GORE-Executive two-day meeting's closing ceremony at the Government Palace.

As is known, these events are aimed to spur actions that will encourage further development across the nation.
